At The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, we send our alumni a monthly newsletter to keep them connected to the college.
I like to experiment and test out different subject lines. I try to stick with a subject line for a few months while I track the success.







The most clicked section of the newsletter is almost always the “In Memoriam” section.
For each issue of this newsletter, I track the open rate and click rate and compare that to our average open and click rates. I focus mostly on click rates.
