Here are some Instagram Reels I’ve created for The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine’s Instagram @OSUVetCollege.
In February 2024, I made this Reel showing off the brand-new equine performance arena. I also wrote a story about this new arena.
To promote our Farm Animal Service and show how neat surgeries are, I made this Reel. I hope it shows what great care is given to farm animals and how team members love what they do.
For BuckeyeLove, I walked around campus and made this feel-good Reel:
November 22, 2023: I made a Reel about our Michigan Fire Hydrant, using audio I found on The Ohio State University’s main Instagram account.
August 21, 2023: For the Class of 2027’s orientation, I made multiple Reels to showcase the unique vet student orientation experience. The best performing one was the middle one, Day 2 with 7,175 views, 441 likes and 4 comments. I think people liked the class photo in that Reel and may have watched it multiple times to try and find the person they knew.
June 15, 2023: For this Reel, I used Adobe Rush to crop the size of the video because this footage came from a wider shot video that was played internally during the relaunch of our strategic plan. I wanted to highlight Nicole and use her video to help HR with their recruiting efforts because there is a shortage of vet assistants and vet techs. This Reel had comments like “Nicole was such a pleasant person to learn from during my clinical year 🥰” and “Nicole is amazing!!!👏” which was great to read. I wanted the Reel to feel like a friend talking to a friend on IG.
This Reel had 3,576 plays, 254 hearts, 9 shares and 2 sends.
April 5, 2023: I filmed Emma speaking about her research and added captions to the Reel.
We saw 5,310 plays, 405 likes, 14 saves and 13 shares.
January 24, 2023: This was just so visually cool that I had to share it on Reels. Amanda and Gengar are super nice. Gengar is a rock-star athlete!
This reel has 4154 plays, 346 likes, 26 shares, 4 saves and 3 comments.
October 25, 2022: I filmed Jeff speaking about the new Spectrum of Care Clinic. Jeff was in our initial Spectrum of Care video so we wanted to touch base with him now that he was actively on his rotation in the clinic.
This Reel had 4197 plays, 307 likes, 12 shares and 10 saves.
