In December 2021, I presented at the Ohio State Social Media Community of Practice.
I wanted to share with colleagues across Ohio State my advice for responding online. This is a topic I care a lot about and have experience from my different roles. I tailored the presentation to an Ohio State audience.
The Ohio State Social Media Production Manager who leads the Social Media Community of Practice emailed me with positive feedback: “I just wanted to say thank you again for presenting at the Social Media Community of Practice meeting this week. From giving real examples and strategies on how to respond to good/bad reviews, explaining the value engaging with reviews has to a business and brand, to going into detail on the tools Sprout offers for organizing and responding to reviews, every piece of your presentation was engaging and informative. The cherry on top of your great presentation was taking the time at the end to acknowledge mental health and burnout because it’s a great reminder for every person working in social. You were a great representation of the Ohio State Vet Med team and we’d love to have you back for presentations in the future.”
